The dial draws thin cord laces through four fabric webbing loops on each side, so there is no bow to tie and no loose end to trail through the snow. The upper pairs quilted fabric and contrast stitching with smooth PU at the toe and lower sides, the shaft rises above the ankle with a pull loop at the back, and a pile lining sits around the collar opening.

Underneath is a chunky PVC outsole with deep lugs and a contrast heel insert. Wear them to clear the driveway, walk the dog before sunrise or cross an unploughed car park on the way to work. They are winter boots you close with one turn and walk straight out the door in.
