Men's Thermal Long Johns Set - Seamless Base Layer Top and Bottoms

This men's thermal long johns set is a seamless knit base layer: a long-sleeve crew-neck top and full-length bottoms, knitted in the round so there are no side seams to rub and no sewn elastic band to dig in. It goes on first and sits flat under jeans, work trousers, bib trousers and salopettes.

Both pieces are knit from a nylon, polyester and elastane yarn, with denser ribbed zones and open knit areas mapped across the chest, back, shoulders, forearms and knees. Raglan sleeves give you a full reach overhead, ribbed cuffs hold the sleeves at the wrist and the legs at the boot top, and the waistband is knitted into the bottoms instead of sewn on.

Cotton long johns are the usual first try and the usual complaint, because cotton holds on to sweat from the walk in and turns cold once you stop moving. This set is a synthetic knit instead, close-fitting and stretchy, so it moves when you bend, kneel and reach and does not bunch at the knees when you sit.
