Most camp slippers fall off your foot the second you step off the mat. You take three steps to the fire pit and you're kicking one back on — or you've given up and put your boots on just to walk 20 feet. The COZYWARM camp slippers close at the heel, which means they stay on your foot on the tent floor, on the gravel, and on the deck steps.

Here's how it works.

The upper is a channel-quilted puffer construction — horizontal quilted channels running across the toe box and body, the same technique used in insulated jackets, holding heat in place instead of letting it dissipate. A dark ripstop grid-texture collar panel wraps the ankle and heel, fully enclosing the back of the foot so the slipper moves with you instead of off you. Inside, a plush fleece lining at the collar delivers warmth from the first contact. The outsole is a patterned rubber sole with enough tread depth for gravel, damp wood decking, and grass without slipping. No laces. No straps. Slip on in a second, slip off the same way.

Key Features:

  • The fully enclosed heel holds the slipper on your foot when you step from tent floor to campsite gravel — no kicking, no shuffling, no losing one in the dark.
  • Channel-quilted puffer upper wraps the foot in the same insulation structure used in outdoor jackets, so warmth builds fast and stays in.
  • Plush fleece lining at the ankle collar delivers heat from the first step — no break-in period, no waiting for the chill to leave.
  • Patterned rubber outsole handles gravel, wood decking, and damp grass without slipping — designed for the transition zones between the tent and the campsite.
  • Slip-on design with no fasteners goes on in a second and comes off just as fast, whether you're stepping out before coffee or heading back to the sleeping bag at midnight.
  • Available in US sizes 7.5–13, including sizes most slipper brands stop offering at 11 or 12.

Three colorways: Black/Green, White/Black, and Pink. The COZYWARM mountain embroidery appears on the collar in white thread on every pair.

House Shoes for Camping - Fleece-Lined Closed-Back Slippers

Slipper up top.
Shoe underneath.

Closed-back camp slippers with a channel-quilted upper, a plush fleece lining and a patterned rubber grip sole. Warm the second your boots come off, and they stay on your feet when you step out of the tent.

“I already have slippers at home.”

So does everyone. And that's where they stay, because the first step onto gravel or damp grass and an open back slides right off your heel. So the camp shoes live by the door too, and you end up packing two pairs to do one job. These are the one pair: a fully enclosed heel so they stay on outside, a plush fleece lining so your feet are warm the moment the boots come off, and a patterned rubber sole with enough tread for gravel, decking and grass.

Six reasons to switch to a closed-back pair

Boots off. Feet warm. Still outside.

The channel-quilted upper and plush fleece lining warm cold feet from the first step: no break-in, no waiting for the chill to leave. The best part of the day starts when the boots come off, and these are what you put on next.

They stay on when you step out

A fully enclosed heel, not the open back of a house slipper. Nothing to kick back on between the tent floor, the gravel and the RV step, and no losing one in the dark.

One pair, not two

Slipper inside, shoe outside, same pair. The slippers you pack for the tent and the shoes you keep by the door become one thing that lives in your gear bin, trip after trip.

Grip for the ground around camp

A patterned rubber sole with enough tread depth for gravel, damp wood decking and grass. Built for the in-between zone: tent to fire pit, RV step to picnic table.

Warm feet before bed, not after

Cold feet at nine are why you're awake at two, and a sleeping bag struggles to warm feet that go in cold. A couple of hours in these by the fire and you climb into the bag already warm.

Sizes that don't stop at 11

Men's US 7.5 to 13 and women's 9 to 14.5, in five unisex sizes. That covers the sizes most slipper ranges stop offering at 11 or 12.

Three numbers that tell the story

1 pair

does the job you currently pack two for. Slipper inside the tent, shoe outside it, and nothing to swap at the door.

M 7.5 to 13

in men's US sizes, women's 9 to 14.5. Big feet are the sizes most slipper ranges forget. Not this one.

Love your slippers at home? Keep them. These are the pair that can leave the tent.

Cold feet at nine. Awake at two.

Campers say it again and again, and the fix is rarely inside the sleeping bag. Feet that go in cold tend to stay cold. Feet that go in warm stay warm. The hours before bed are the ones that decide it.

I was snug as a bug apart from my feet which have only just thawed… I have tried wearing socks but no good.

I find if my feet are cold before getting in the bag, they just don't warm up, so I change my socks and get them warm before snugglying down.

What makes it a camp shoe, not a slipper?

Every pair you own fails one of two tests: it's warm but can't leave the tent, or it can leave the tent but your feet are cold. This one is built to pass both, and it comes down to three parts:

  1. Enclosed heel A ripstop collar panel wraps the ankle and heel and fully encloses the back of the foot, so the slipper moves with you instead of off you. Nothing to step out of on gravel, grass or the RV step.
  2. Channel-quilted upper, plush fleece lining Horizontal quilted channels across the toe box and body, the same technique used in insulated jackets, hold the heat in place. The fleece lining makes them warm from the first step.
  3. Patterned rubber outsole Enough tread depth for gravel, damp wood decking and grass without slipping, where a soft indoor sole slides.

No laces, no straps: slip on in a second, slip off the same way. And they're camp shoes, not waterproof boots, made for the short walks around your site, not for puddles.

Good questions

Are they waterproof?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. They're camp shoes for the short walks around your site: the tent floor, gravel, decking, damp grass. They're not made for puddles or standing in the rain. That's what your boots are for.

Will they actually stay on outside?

Yes. That's the whole point of the closed-back build. The collar panel wraps fully around the ankle and heel, so unlike an open-back slipper there's nothing to step out of on the RV step or across the grass in the dark.

What size should I order?

Each size covers a men's and a women's US size: M 7.5 / W 9, M 8.5-9 / W 10-10.5, M 9.5-10 / W 11-11.5, M 11-11.5 / W 12.5-13 and M 12.5-13 / W 14-14.5. Pick the one that includes your usual size. If yours falls between two listed sizes, take the bigger one: a camp slipper works best with a little room.

I wear a men's 13. Do they really go that big?

Yes. The top size covers men's 12.5 to 13 and women's 14 to 14.5, the sizes most slipper ranges stop offering at 11 or 12. Big feet are the size the category forgets, and that's why this one exists.

Do I wear socks with them?

Up to you. The plush fleece lining is there so bare feet are warm from the first step. If you like socks for the walk to bed, go for it, and if you plan on thick socks and sit between sizes, take the bigger size.

How far can I walk in them?

Around camp: your site, the restroom, the car, the camp store. They're camp shoes, not hiking shoes: the patterned rubber sole is built for gravel, decking and grass, not for the trail behind the campground. Boots for the day, these for the evening.

Won't they be too hot in warmer weather?

On a warm evening they're a warm pair of shoes, and you might not want them until the sun drops. They earn their keep the moment the temperature does: the cool evenings and early mornings when bare feet in sandals stop being fun.

Can I wear them at home too?

Yes. The same closed heel and grippy sole that work at camp work on a cold kitchen floor and the walk to the mailbox. They just happen to be built for the campsite as well.

How do I clean them?

Hand wash only. Knock the dirt off the sole, wash the upper by hand with a little mild soap and let them air dry. Skip the washing machine and the dryer.

What if they're not for me?

Send them back: start a return within 30 days of delivery. If fit is the issue, check the sizes above first. Between two sizes, or planning on thick socks, the bigger size is usually the fix.
