The outside is a ribbed stretch knit, 95% polyester per the maker, and the inside is a plush pile lining that sits against your neck. Wear it pushed down into a soft roll at the collar, then pull the top edge up over your chin and nose when the wind picks up at the bus stop or on the dog walk.

The maker also says the lining color is random, so the plush inside yours may be a different shade from the photos.
