The Activearo 12x50 Monocular Telescope magnifies twelve times through a 50 mm objective, and it carries its own numbers on the eyepiece collar rather than only on a spec sheet: fully multi-coated, 12x50, and a 5 degree field. You can read them on the product before you take our word for anything.
A 5 degree field works out to roughly 261 feet at 1000 yards, which is how much of a treeline or a far bank you hold in view at once. Dividing the 50 mm objective by the 12x magnification gives a 4.2 mm exit pupil, and that is the beam of light the optic hands your eye. Both figures come off the collar and a calculator, so you can check either one.
On a headland, at a marsh edge or across a valley, twelve times magnification also means twelve times your own pulse, which is why the tripod mount and the phone clamp both come in the box.
