These men's long johns are a two-piece base layer set, a long sleeve crew neck top and full length leggings, made to go on first and stay out of your way under whatever you wear over them. If your last pair slid down every time you bent over, this set is built close to the body, with a wide elastic band at the waist.
The fabric is a stretch knit of 92% polyester and 8% elastane, with no cotton in it. The top has a crew neck, long sleeves and a printed tagless label. The leggings have a wide elastic waistband with a repeating printed wordmark and a contoured front seam.
Wear the leggings under work jeans on a cold job, under shorts for an early run, or wear the whole set on its own at the gym, because a close stretch fit leaves no loose fabric to gather under your clothes.
Black, Dark Gray and Navy come in the V-panel design, with a tonal V of textured knit across the chest and shoulders and tonal bars down the sides. Black with Gray Piping is a plainer raglan top with gray piping along the seams, matching gray piping down the leggings and a printed slogan on the left leg. The 2 Sets pack is two black V-panel sets, four pieces in total.
This is not a fleece lined or insulated long john, and we give it no warmth rating, because the maker supplies no lining, no fill and no test result. It is a thin stretch layer that is the same inside and out. It is also not a graded compression garment. If you need rated cold weather wear or medical compression, this set is not that, and we would rather say so here than have you find out on a cold morning.
